Budget low pressure soaker hose should only be used up to a maximum working length of 25 metres if connected to a water tank or butt. This type of irrigation pipe is meant to work best over small lengths. Budget Low Pressure soaker hoses can also be connected to a mains tap and will leak up to 50 metres. Just allow the pipe to fill with water initially then slowly increase the water pressure until the desired level of leakage is reached.
